i think maybe its like their own personnal textbook but easier because you dont have to look it up but harder because it weighs you down with each memory you receive.I would feel scared because of the pain and the fact of carrying around all those mermories, but of course like most things its probably isnt as bad as they make it out to be.
i think they need a reciever becouse they need someone to relieve all the pain of the old one.and so someone would get the job they are capable of. not one thats to easy for them. i would also be sad,curios,happy all at the same time if i was choosen to be the next reciever. sad becouse i wont get to see my family. and i couldnt tell them what a good job i did at work that day. curios becouse of what might be outside the walls that i work,live at. if you are the reciever i imagine you get to go OUTSIDE. so then i would be curious what it looks like. one last thing i would be happy becouse i just got choose to be the next reciever. no one else exept me so they must see something special in me or uniqe.
The community needs a receiver because if they are faced with something they have never expierenced before, or they arent sure about, they need help deciding what to do. Since one day Jonas will have all of those memories, they will ask for his help since he knows what happend in the past. So he will probably know what to do. They also need a Receiver so others dont have to feel the pain that everybody once did. He has to save everybody else from the burden of pain and suffering. Him and the Giver get to feel it all. But some memories from the past are good ones, not bad ones.
The community needs the reciver because they will need advice about some things. But some ideas they think is right but is acualy wrong. I would not wont to be the reciver. I wouldnt want to be one because i would have pain and i would be alone. But i wouldnt have to but it would be hard. It would also put a lot of stress on me.

Praobably why the reciever is so lonley is because they have secrets they cant tell their family so it would be a lonley life. Another reason why the coumunity needs a reciver is because the town dosent know about death . The reciever might be lonely because they cant talk about training they have to keep that all bottled in ee col.Some recievers are 12 and still cant tell parents . The reciver life can because they can see color .

You have to go and train and it is like you have no one to be around with. maybe they need a reciever for telling old memories. i would be fretful, happy, and would be honored.
