There are more hints about what "Release" means (pages 48-49). What do you think it means? Give examples from the story.

A releasment is when you have broken a rule or you are beyound the age limit, they send you to the release room and they send you to a different community.
A releasment is when you are in that community and you have not followed a rule or a rule has been broken and you will be released. I'm not sure if you get released to another community but i do know that you will get kicked out of that community.

what i think relise is, would be where you have broken a rule or have disobeyed the laws,commandes,expectations that are required. when you have broken these rules you are sent to a different community and are not alowed back in.

A releasment is is a final disision or a terrible punishment. Also, release means an overwhelming state ment of failure. For an example, when you go down the high way and the speed limit is 40 and you're going 63, well in the book The Giver you would be released from the community. So since you went over the speed limit, you would be punished.
I think it means that they make them die. I don't think they bring them to different community because that doesn't sound like a cummuinity in my eyes. they control everything there is to control so the might just make them die. That is what I think.
